I help overwhelmed parents feed their babies

Having a baby who is struggling to feed is one of the most overwhelming experiences new parents encounter.

I help babies find their flow with bottle and breastfeeding by evaluating what aspect of their oral-motor skills are weak and giving you targeted exercises to help your baby improve their technique and strengthen their feeding muscles. This helps them feed better and protects you from latch-related pain.

Here are the moms and babies I love to help:

Babies with a weak suck

Your baby often dribbles milk. They might make a clicking noise while feeding as they lose suction at the breast. They might tire easily and only feed in short and frequent bursts. You might still feel an uncomfortable fullness in your breasts even after your baby is done nursing. You might notice these issues while breastfeeding or also while bottlefeeding. Your baby can’t sustain a suck on a pacifier or will only drink from a certain kind of bottle.

Babies struggling to bottle feed

This is most obvious in babies who refuse bottles altogether. Possibly your baby does take a bottle (maybe only one specific kind!) but takes a long time to feed or requires a very strong flow rate to get enough milk. They might be dribbling milk out the side of the bottle or clicking as they lose suction. You might have a hard time making sure they drink enough milk to stay on their growth curve.

Moms with recurrent mastitis or chronic breast engorgement

Have you had mastitis more than once? Are you prone to plugged ducts or uncomfortable fullness in your breasts? I help you navigate your recurrent breast inflammation by taking a holistic look at your health. You might already have chronic inflammation such as stomachaches, sensitive skin, thyroid imbalances, or a diagnosed autoimmune or chronic condition.

We’ll use nutritional supplements and herbs to lower the inflammation in your body which helps you kick that mastitis and gives you a more comfortable breastfeeding experience.

You don’t have to navigate feeding alone.
